Postpartum Check Up

Everyone who gives birth deserves a thorough evaluation. Your birth provider assures that your body has healed from the acute event of delivery, but who is checking on your movement, muscle strength and asking questions about bladder, bowel, and sexual function? Pregnancy and delivery are two of the most impactful changes a body can withstand. Getting rehabilitation services following a major surgery or injury is obvious; postpartum PT should be too! Learn strategies to protect your body during healing and safely progress back to activities you love.

Therapeutic Ultrasound

Breastfeeding troubles? Guidelines for treatment of clogged milk ducts, recurrent clogged ducts, and mastitis indicate that therapeutic ultrasound is a safe and effective treatment. Relief is often achieved in one visit! We offer at home visits for breastfeeding mamas who are looking for help.

It might be common, but you don’t have to live like this.

Most common pelvic health concerns are treatable with conservative treatments like physical therapy.

  • Current guidelines support therapeutic ultrasound for treatment of clogged milk ducts and mastitis symptoms. These conditions are inflammatory and respond well to rest, ice, NSAIDs, lymphatic massage, and therapeutic ultrasound.
